OFF-PISTE EXCURSIONS :
SAFETY FIRST
Before each departure, the program may be modified according to the snow and weather conditions, the level and wishes of the group, in order to ensure the safety and pleasure of all. The guide accompanying the group is the sole judge in this matter.
We provide the latest rescue equipment (ABS® airbags, DVA, shovels, probes…) and all the equipment is checked before each outing. We can also, on request, train you in avalanche rescue, before your off-piste ski trips.

We are fortunate to be based in Val d’Isère, in the Tarentaise valley in the heart of Savoie and to have one of the most beautiful ski areas in the French Alps: the Espace Killy. Born from the merger of the Val-d’Isère and Tignes ski areas, it is one of the largest and best ski areas in the world. It is also one of the most fabulous off-piste skiing areas.
Enthusiasts come from all over the world to enjoy its snow and its unique sunshine. Val-d’Isère has become a must for ski lovers and professionals. With two glaciers, 320 km of runs (from easy to expert), hundreds of off-piste itineraries from the resort, from the arrival of the lifts or from the heli-skiing pick-up points, Val-d’Isère has an infinite choice of itineraries.
Moreover, its highest point at 3456 m allows a spectacular difference in altitude in adventure terrain. Its domain, on and off-piste, totals more than 17,500 hectares and as many wild spaces await you.
The ski lifts are the best in France and one of the fastest (even during school vacations, it is rare to queue). They take you up to 3,400 m altitude, on the summits or at the start of valleys where the snow is of excellent quality. In fact, thanks to the two main weather influences in the French Alps, you are pretty much guaranteed to find snow from November through May.
